Paste resist with binder and discharge. - LO7

I have been trying out different techniques for how I can create colours with shapes that aren't just using procion. I have tried the technique of printing binder shapes to create a resist when I dye the fabric and then using discharge paste to create another over lapping shape that takes away the colour from the dyed fabric leaving white behind. And where it overlaps onto the binder it changes its colour slightly. Creating new colours when over lapping is something that I have become really interested in.

I tried this technique with the opaque binders first but as they were quite thick once I dyed the fabric the binder peeled off. So I redid this technique using the translucent binder and this worked perfectly.

I have taken the shapes from my collages to create these prints.
