Deciding between digital and screen printing. - LO8

I have recently been struggling with deciding wether I'm going to be digitally creating designs or screen printing them. I love the imperfect style that comes with screen printing that I feel fits with my work but I have been creating lots of digital designs as well. With these I have been drawing straight into illustrator and then changing the colour and fill of these shapes and playing around with creating repeats. This is something that I don't usually do. Ive been playing around with changing the colours to show different colour ways of the designs. After creating lots of digital designs I have kind of got bored of how they look, so maybe it is time to create some screen printed samples. As I'm using so many different shapes its probably not best to use screens as I want each piece to be different, I will use stencils but maybe get some shapes that Ive been using a lot on screens. To give me inspiration for my prints I have been creating lots of collages using the shapes from my original drawings and photographs. These have been quite simple so I want to print these and then work back into them with foils and embellishments.
