Henri Matisse Exhibition at RA - LO3
On Sunday I went to London to see the Matisse in the studio exhibition at the Royal Academy. This is one of my favourite galleries to go to as the exhibitions are always amazing. This exhibition had a collection of objects that he looked at for inspiration for all of his paintings and collages. It was so interesting to see how he actually works and what he looks at to create such amazing work. Though I wanted to see his collage work mostly and his drawings of the figure the whole exhibition was really good. His cut outs took there main inspiration from Chinese characters and the active presence of negative space.
